Notable Achievements of SAB

Bengal Industrial Training Centre An ITC, set up in collaboration with Department of Technical Education, Govt. of West Bengal at Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic Campus, Kolkata 700023, having NCVT. Govt. of India accredited course on Library & Information Science and also conducting 10+2 vocational course in Business & Commerce under W.B State Council of Vocational Education & Training. 

108 micro entrepreneurs developed during 2007-2008 under Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development (STED) Project, Govt. of India.

Fellowship award received by the Secretary from School of Fundamental Research, Kolkata.

Gopal Chandra Bhattacharya award received by Dr. Subhabrata Roychoudhuri, Secretary, The Science Association of Bengal in 2006-2007 from Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of West Bengal.

More Achievements of SAB

Over 300 villagers, particularly SC/ST and tribal women in Midnapore district received training and empowerment on fishery, bamboo products, food processing, mushroom, shal leaves culture and medicinal plants under Science & Society Division, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

Developed 410 micro entrepreneurs in Sagardwip, Kakdwip and S-24 Pgs. Dist. And 170 micro entrepreneur in North 24 Parganas, Sandeshkhali Block-2 (2006-2007).
